S.W.A.N. Day Staten Island 2018 has reached a 5 year milestone! An international celebration honoring women artists as well as those who identify as female artists founded by womenarts.org, this year we are teaming up with the youth from GRRL POWER and local artists to bring a fully inclusive exhibit and open mic night to our community.

The exhibition features visual art created by members of GRRL POWER created during an Empowerment Series held during February-April by Elaine Mendez, Esperanza Santiago of Labyrinth Arts Collective, and Traci Timmons from La Familia Repertory Company. Visual art, performances and more! Local artists are invited to attend and participate as well. This is a free event for the community.
