Parental Guidance Suggested (an Unfortunately True Musical Dramedy) is a dark comedic musical that deals with the stressful workday at a daycare from the perspective of Irene, the teacher’s assistant who does the dirty work of the job: cleaning, caring for the chaotic kids (played by adult actors), diaper changing, toilet training, the lead teacher’s constant criticism, food preparation, and more cleaning – all for minimum wage.
