In Civility – Part 2: Outrage Machine
September 13 @ 8:00 pm - September 22 @ 10:00 pm| $15 – $20
Deborah Slater Dance Theater uses art as a tool to explore, re-contextualize, and reframe difficult life experiences.
We ask, “What does it mean that we have gone into a behavioral retrograde at such an astonishing rate? How is it that what was inappropriate, unthinkable, cruel, ignorant, racist, and sexist… has been made acceptable, even ‘normal’ in such a short period of time?” Technology has certainly transformed the manner in which we perceive and interact with the world around us, but has it transformed us?
This will be part of the Combustible Festival at Counterpulse in San Francisco. Deborah Slater Dance Theater will be performing September 13-15 & 20-22. Please check the Counterpulse website for the exact dates and times: http://www.Counterpulse.org
