Jan Lisa Huttner Jan Lisa Huttner is a Chicago-based film critic and Managing Editor of Films for Two: The Online Guide for Busy Couples. (www.films42.com). She is also the creative force behind WITASWAN ("Women in the Audience Supporting Women Artists Now") and co-founder of International SWAN Day. Jan has received three "Silver Feather” awards for superior achievement from the Illinois Woman’s Press Association in 2005, 2006 and 2010, as well as two certificates from the National Federation of Press Women (IWPA’s parent)—“Best News Writing on the Web" (First Place in 2005 for her Women’s eNews article “Works of 11 Female Artists Are Oscar Nominees”) and “Best Website Development” (Third Place in 2010 for her Blog The Hot Pink Pen). Huttner has recently published a book called Penny’s Picks: 50 Movies by Women Filmmakers (2002-2011), a collection of reviews (many of which were originally posted by WomenArts) along with historical articles providing background on WITASWAN/SWAN Day.
