...there should be more books like the bandit queens, more girls would feel better about themselves knowing famous celebrities aka "Bandit Queens" telling them it's ok to be you. i wish i could've read a book like that a year ago! i came up with this plan each day i'm gonna try a diffrent law and find a way to apply it to me i feel stronger

With fear of sounding excessive...I LOVE your book. It speaks to me...I want to laugh, cry, scream and jump up I had hoped it would be the perfect gift to give to my daughter for graduation...I couldn't have given her a better message than what you have down in the pages of your book. Everything I've read so far in your book are lessons I've been trying to give my daughters since the day they were born...VERY POWERFUL.

It is funky and fresh and totally disarming and your photographs are full of life.

I received a copy of Laws of the Bandit Queens from my daughter who is a graduate student at Tisch. I immediately passed it on to a friend saying you have to read this, and we both bought several copies for other friends. It is a wonderful exploration and illumination of women…
