Current Work
I am working on a manuscript based on journal entries made during a year of travel throughout the United States, specifically to the nation's national parks, national forests and historical places.
I am also continually adding to a stock of nature photography that focuses on natural parks and wildlife. |
Short Bio
I began writing after receiving my master's degree in journalism in 1997. I worked as a journalist for four years and am now transitioning into a freelance writing and nature photography business. I have recently begun working with virtual reality photography as well. (See www.mountvernon.org, the virtual tour, to see my work.)
In addition, I volunteer as the executive director of a non-profit foundation that provides art education to students of a Washington DC public school.
