Short Bio
Michelle Bellici started drawing early on, following the footsteps of her grandfather, a painter and cartographer, and her father, also an artist.

She retreated to her family's basement with her grandfather’s drawings, books, and a copy of Gray’s Anatomy. She studied her grandfather’s work. By the time she was 8 years old Michelle was replicating what she studied, by 4th grade.
In high school she expanded her creativity to include charcoal and graphic design. She was hired by local companies to create company logos and was paid professional fees for her work.

Ms. Bellici has studied art at the University of Massachusetts under the guidance and tutelage of American painter, Richard Yarde. She has also studied at the Lorenzo de Medici School of Art in Florence, Italy, where her 35 piece series, Vero Inizio, was born.

Ms. Bellici is represented by the Agora Gallery, Chelsea, NY, has exhibited her work throughout Massachusetts and has sold work to buyers and collectors from New York to San Francisco.

Ms. Bellici's home is Northampton, Massachusetts. In October of 2004 she married her partner, Kathy LeMay.
