Personal Statement: I love writing — the act itself, sharing what I write, and seeing it come to life on stage. I write to tell stories, to make people laugh and cry and think. My writing is influenced by feminism, a passion for social justice, experience as a child advocate, motherhood (twins at 38!), being Jewish, and a wonderful circle of family, friends, and writers in my life.

Current Work
A current project is a non-linear, non-realistic play in which teen violence is explored from various perspectives. Issues touched on include stereotyping, teen sex, and absent fathers.
Short Bio
My plays have been seen in dozens of venues and have won a variety of awards, including the Streisand Festival of New Jewish Plays and the Eileen Heckart Drama for Seniors 10-Minute Competition. I have also been recognized by Actors Theatre of Louisville (Finalist 3 times in 10-Minute Contest), Jane Chambers, Kernodle, Pittsburgh New Plays, New Harmony, Atlantis Playmakers, Coe College, and others. Smith & Kraus has published some of my work. See my website for more details.
