Current Work I am working with an all women Board of Directors to create Access Arts, a non-profit organization promoting participation in the arts. I am the President.
On January 1, 2003, it occurred to me there was a need for such an organization. In contacting others, from artists to congresswomen, I found an enthusiastic support group. It has taken a year, but we are getting rolling. We travel to areas to teach workshops, give lectures and demonstrations, spotlight local artists, and more, throughout the United States and Canada.
Access Arts can be reached by writing me at Robbin Neff, Access Arts, P O Box 689, Atlantic VA 23303-0689, or Bobbie Bradford, 1725 Wilstone Ave, Leucadia CA 92024. Our web page and email address will be available in January 2004. |
Short Bio I began creating at less than 2 years of age. I could use another 12 lifetimes for the ideas I have recorded to date, and there are many journals full of them. It has been almost 50 years of creating visual art.
I have enjoyed the freedom to master many media, including colored pencil, pen & ink, printmaking (intaglio), water color, oil, acrylic, graphite, and fibre arts. I love art. I couldn't stop if I tried, and love to share it with others through demonstrations and workshops.
I have pieces in collections througout the world, mostly in the USA, Canada, and Asia. I was a professional artist 30 years before pursuing a BFA at the University of Hawaii Manoa, under many excellent instructors. Since then I have continued to self educate myself, and look for every opportunity to continue my university education.
There can be no end to learning art, from the old masters, and the emerging artists. Paying attention to as many as you can, will strengthen your own knowledge and abilities.
