Current Work My latest work is a continuation of her study of Roland Barthes’ A Lover’s Discourse. These two volumes, titled Loss and Glee respectfully, contain 20 paintings each. The works are mixed media with stories about loss and glee as related to love, that I've collected for over a year from people spanning the globe. Wherein "Reflections & Complaints" purposefully handed over a voyeuristic experience, these pieces intend to bring the viewer into the work on a more intimate level. "It’s 4AM", a painting inspired by and integrated with a story from South Africa, relays the hauntingly empty feeling of fault and the consequential loss of a lover.
Half of Loss and Glee will be exhibited concurrently in Cleveland, Ohio at the Miller-Weitzel Gallery, located at 5304 Detroit Avenue on September 2, 2005 and the other half in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the BoxHeart Gallery, located at 4523 Liberty Avenue on September 3, 2005.

Short Bio In 1996 I received my C.E.A.P. from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Rouen in Rouen, France and have been based in Cleveland, Ohio since then. I discarded traditional materials in favor of using cosmetics as a fine arts medium in 1998.
