Personal Statement: Arts for Development

Current Work
War against Plastics - using art and crafts as a means of reducing the amount of plastics that litter the environment. Aside from the adverse environmental impact of these plastics, the way they are thrown around creates a chaotic and unpleasant ambience in the city of Nsukka and even beyond so I am using both arts and oral word to challenge people to dispose of these things properly. In April I had a collaborative celebration of the World Earth day with the local council here to raise awareness about the environmental hazards these things create.

Her Art works have been exhibited at home in Ukehe, Nsukka, Lagos, Bamako, Mali, Denmark and many other places.
