Short Bio Sandra has been involved in both theatre and film production since 1980. She was Corporate Comptroller for major film editing and production companies and Production Auditor for CBS-TV's Pee-wee's Playhouse as well as TV specials and pilots shown on CBS-TV, ABC-TV, NBC-TV, HBO, and Showtime. She is Producing Artistic Director/Literary Manager at 13th St Repertory in NYC, and Executive Director at Merit Theater and Film Group. Her New Works of Merit Playwriting Contest is an international contest seeking socially conscious scripts that not only entertain, but promote new awareness. She has produced well over 70 plays, 150 readings, and ten script development workshops, all by new American playwrights. She has supervised over 350 interns in all aspects of theatre.
