Current Work I am always working on pieces that are in various degrees of completion. At this time I am styling some simpler pieces that are more affordable, less time consuming, yet are still alluring, delicate, and attractive. Keep in mind, when I say delicate I do not mean fragile! My pieces are double strung with Nymo thread for strength and longevity at the same time giving a delicate appearance. I consider my works to be of Heirloom quality; Pieces that will last through the generations. |
Short Bio My name is Joy and I have been doing beadwork since the evening of my 21st birthday in July 1989, when a lady just outside of Cougar Hot Springs showed me how to do a peyote stitch. This was right after my first Rainbow Gathering of the Tribes in Nevada '89. That was all it took! I apply all the knowledge I have gathered concerning colors, stones, astrology, shapes, etc., in creating these pieces. They are all original, I copy no one!
