Short Bio Lee Gainer is a contemporary conceptual artist who works in the Washington DC metro area. She uses found and created imagery to visually analyze social rules, hidden messages, the psychology behind these ideas and beliefs, and how they alter our behavior. Lee's work has been featured in The American Prospect, The New York Times, The Exposure Project, and Designboom. She is currently a resident artist at the Arlington Arts Center in Arlington, Virginia. Her work has been exhibited along the east and west coasts and can be viewed at www.leegainer.com.
