Personal Statement: I am a woman of the earth. My life is a social statement. The land is my greatest teacher and friend. My paintings, sculpture and poetry are a reflection of this essential relationship. For the last 15 years, I have worked with the School of Lost Borders, guiding vision fast groups into the wilderness. This work opens me and feeds the art. In the land I see forms and shapes that personify my personal sense of connection and mystery. Rocks and Trees become robed people, stones sparkle with life and lizards speak of needful things. I believe the land personified, this mysterious presence I know, has something to say to us. I am a voice for that.

Current Work
I plan to travel the Southwest and paint my feeling of the land. I want to gift small paintings to visitor centers in our public lands.
