Mission Statement: Mariann Aalda & Iona Morris continue the work they began with their first collaborative work, "Herotique-Aahh..." with the sketch comedy troupe, 3 Blacque Chix -- the elevation of the image and status of older women in Western culture -- with "MOIST!" their newest celebration of the sexual vibrancy, vitality and viability of the "seasoned" woman. Filling the stage with love, laughter and song, they prove that "the best is yet to come!"

THEATER REVIEW:

"...literary deftness...tickled and teased...steamy and seductive..."

"The show makes its point -- sex may be good when you're young, but it's GREAT when you get older -- with humorous conviction."

-Ed Bumgardner, WINSTON-SALEM JOURNAL

History
With commercial and critical acclaim from a workshop performance at the National Black Theater Festival (and the creators' track record from previous productions), "MOIST!" was optioned to open Off-Broadway in late 2008-early 2009. Due to the economic crisis, they lost their funding and are now looking for new investors and corporate sponsors interested in achieving high visibility with their target audience.
