Short Bio Naomi Graychase is a poet, writer, editor, researcher, consultant, writing coach, aunt, sister, daughter, friend and advocate for independent art. She has more than 100 published articles to her credit. She began freelancing full-time in 1997 and her work has appeared in "The New York Times" and on National Public Radio, among other places. She is currently Contributing Writer at "Girlfriends" magazine and Staff Writer at Falconer magazine. She is co-founder of Sister Spit Northampton which she hosts on a monthly basis. She recently gave up her life in San Francisco (she misses her friends, the ocean, and Firewood) and turned down law school and an MFA program in order to continue to pursue creative work full-time. She feels good about her decision. She has two cats, a few struggling plants, an old Chevy truck and a teddy bear to keep her company when she's at home. The best movies she's seen recently are Secretary, Frida and Bend it Like Beckham. She doesn't play video games made after 1989. She starts every day with yoga and coffee. Her least favorite question in the world is "So, what do you do?" She's been a vegetarian since 1990. And she hopes you're registered to vote.
