Personal Statement: I am a wordsmith and fantasy driven performance creator. I use text driven images to make worlds that are at once sad, enlightening, and frightening. I'm always trying to learn how to collaborate, especially with videographers, directors, performance artists and graphic novelists.

Short Bio
Raised in college towns and close to the Atlantic, I generally write about insects, fatness, sex, ambition and collective memory.

I have an A.B. from Brown University in Providence, RI in Africana Studies with a focus in Playwriting. I was the recipient of the CV Starr Fellowship for Community Service, a Mellon Fellowship, and Summer Research Fellowhships at New York University, University of Pennsylvania and the University of Dar Es Salaam studying 19th century popular theatre, theatre for development, and the work of Zora Neale Hurston.
