Jawaahir Dance Company celebrates its twentieth anniversary!
Cassandra and the Jawaahir dancers perform all new works with the most awe-inspiring, mind-blowing, house-rockin’ Arabic musicians this country has to offer. New spins on traditional styles permeate the presentations, bringing enchantment (tarab) and virtuosity to center stage. These concerts are truly a unique opportunity to hear and see the inspired artistry of contemporary Arabic music and dance! Join us as we celebrate the new (jadid) and honor the traditional (turath).
