Short Bio Hayv Kahraman was born in Baghdad, Iraq 1981 and moved to Sweden at the age of 11. She began painting in oil at the age of 12 and soon after had several successful exhibitions in Sweden. In 2002 she directed a program involving students from several European countries to understand different cultures through painting, photography and film. The same year an internship in Florence, Italy with SACI, transformed a casual appreciation of design into a full time passion. In 2003 Hayv entered a program for advertising graphics. While enrolled, she participated in several design competitions and received awards for her work. After graduating in 2005 she began freelancing for both corporate and private entities, cooperating and designing work for Italian clients. Hayv has held exhibitions around the world in countries including Sweden, Italy, United States, Turkey and Iraq.
