Short Bio Natasha Sazonova was born in Ukraine and began painting as a toddler. At the age of four, she became the youngest student ever to attend the Fine Arts Studio of the University of Engineering and Architecture in Kiev. Natasha started exhibiting her book illustrations as a pre-teen and was always planning on becoming a professional artist. She immigrated to the United States at the age of sixteen.
Sazonova holds a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut and is currently pursuing an MA in graphic design. As an illustrator, Natasha specializes in editorial and book illustration. Since she believes that in order to be a good illustrator an artist needs to be a well-rounded person, Natasha spends a lot of time on self-education. She speaks four languages and keeps up with world literature, philosophy, and politics.
Natasha’s works have been exhibited in galleries throughout the Northeast, including the Museum of Art and Design in New York City. She has participated in two Cow Parades (Boston and West Hartford) as well as in Connecticut Heart Parade. Natasha creates fine art works on commission for businesses and private collections.
