Mission Statement: As actors, writers, producers and WOMEN, our mission is to broaden awareness of the sexuality of, & increase positive images in the media for -- the aging female population, especially (but not exclusive to) women of color, who are the most under-represented.

Current Work
"HEROTIQUE-AAHH..." (90-minute theater production with music)-- A "sexistential comedy" celebrating the sexual vibrancy and viability of women over 40...and all those planning on LIVING to be -- and the men (and sometimes the women) who love them.
History
3 Blacque Chix Productions was formed in Los Angeles, CA, in November, 2004, by Mariann Aalda, Iona Morris and Lola Love. "HEROTIQUE-AAHH...," their first production, has been critically and commercially successful in LA. Currently, they are looking to fund expansion of the live show with DVD sales (which can be purchased at www.3BlacqueChix.com) of their most recent production.
