Personal Statement: As a director, I have always been drawn to plays that reflect the deep experience of woman. This does not mean I do not deal with the male experience, but rather that the point of view that emerges from the piece is that of a woman's emotional reality. Plays that speak to a universal source call me as well. Generally a play that explores what it is to be human, will delve as well into the questions of spirituality. I look for that element in choosing a piece.
