Personal Statement: It's been 10 years that I've been working as a theatre artist. During that period of time, I have discovered how much hard it is to find joy in life away from theatre.

The stage provides the other life we dream of; it can be the only place where we dare to spell out the forbidden. Life in theatre or theatre of life.

Current Work
Kholoud created an original work for solo mime called "Squeeck". As scriptwriter and performer, she relates the human body to its odd surroundings, which are depicted by sounds and musical expressions. The opening took place at Sunflower Theatre and Monnot Theatre in Beirut 2005-2006. The show toured abroad in 2006-2007.

For Television, she is acting the character "Nammoula" for Al-Jazeera Children Channel's new program called "Baytak Bel Qal3a".

Kholoud took part as an actress in the site-specific production "Bint Jbeil" that was performed as work-in-progress in Scotland (2008). It is directed by Ben Harrison from UK and Sasseen Kawzally from Lebanon. "Bint Jbeil" was produced by National Theatre of Scotland.

Meanwhile she is preparing her Masters degree thesis on comtemporary theatre in Saint Joseph University in Beirut.
