Current Work Sand Shades...
Two women in one. The loves and cries of two separate beings.
Sand Shades is a film reflecting the notion of space and time as perceived through the eyes of a young Indian woman. Through her the nature of dualities inherent in each one of us will be explored and the film will interweave the struggles and textures of two cultures experienced and lived in one individual.
The woman will be seen within both cultures and a visual and emotional montage in both ambiances will express the intensely varied reflections of a woman, an individual, and an artist who follows her call and her 'Numinosity...'
The one who stays and the one who leaves. The one bound in social structures, securities and set molds and the other following her inner guide. Her exoticness is her sensor, her shield and magnet of sorts. She herself becomes the bridge between these two very different worlds.
