Personal Statement: I am based in Atlanta and my passion is painting oil on canvas.

I was influenced greatly on a trip to Colombia where my husband and I visited the personal art collection of Fernando Botero, a Colombian painter/sculptor. I am inspired by works from artists like Diego Rivera, Botero, Oswaldo Guyasamin, and my grandmother, Gloria Walters. She was an artist of clay sculptors and had a successful line of figures called "Glory Girls". I hope to one day be as talented and successful artistically as her. My other grandmother, Mary Louise Phillips, is also an artist whom I admire.

Current Work
I am currently preparing for art gallery shows and other exhibits. My art is also available for purchase through my website at www.sundyvisbal.com. I often paint animals and flowers. I have done a number of murals as well.
Short Bio
Originally from Miami, Florida, I moved to Atlanta in 1991 to attend college. I have been married for 7 years to my husband, Juan Carlos Visbal from Cartagena, Colombia, S.A, and we have 2 children, Nicolas, 5 and Mateo, 1.

We moved to New York in 2000 where I worked as a Lead Developer, managing creative and interactive projects for corporate clients like Pfizer and Chase. In 2003 we made life changing decisions to move back. I now work as a real estate professional when I am not painting.
