Current Work Currently producing a short film about an Asian-American woman who leaves a battering situation. Working on a J.D. at night. |
Short Bio As part of Juana Alicia's mural team from the Institute for Urban Arts in Oakland, I painted part of "Calvin Simmons' Ancient Hip Hop Symphony" on a middle school in Oakland. Also I had a lot of fun in Kearny Street Workshop's Comic Book Arts class, and interviewing artist/historian Trina Robbins for *Bitch* Magazine. I have participated in Quelaco shows at the Mission Cultural Center in San Francisco, too. My B.A. in Fine Art is from Scripps College, Claremont, California.
