Center
for Emerging Artists (CEVA) is a Philadelphia-based organization that
coordinates programming and exhibitions for artists that have not previously
been affiliated with or showcased in a professional gallery. The CEVA
also offers a Career Development program which includes mentoring, public
exhibitions, one-on-one career counseling and numerous networking and
career development opportunities. Currently seeking artists and photographers
that live within a 100 mile radius of Philadelphia to apply for affiliation.

Space Residency Program
Apply
for a two-month residency in Utica, NY. Artists receive a $2,000 stipend,
subsidized communal housing, 24 hour access to the studio, and technical
assistance in an environment conducive to creativity. A public exhibition
follows at end of residency.

Hamiltonian Artists
This D.C.-based gallery and nonprofit organization offers a competitive 2-year fellowship program for new, innovative visual artists in all media. Artists from around the U.S. who have finished their academic training and may still be exploring their artistic directions in alternative art spaces, but have not yet been represented by a gallery, are eligible. Fellowship provides training, mentoring, and exhibition opportunities, as well as a modest stipend.

Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation
FREE
STUDIO SPACES IN NEW YORK CITY
Visual artists 21 and over are invited to submit proposals for FREE
Studio Spaces. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. Residents,
and not in school at the time of residency. The 14 studios are non-living
spaces for the making of new works of art. There is no
stipend or equipment provided. Juried by a panel of artists. Studios
are available for periods of up to one year.
Artists who presently have a studio larger than 400 sq. ft. in New York
City are not eligible.
SWAP – Supporting Women Artists Project
FREE SHARED STUDIO SPACE in Brooklyn, New York
SWAP offers free studio space to women artists in exchange for mentoring young high school women in art. SWAP seeks applicants who are interested in building a women artist community and in working with children; artists commit to mentoring for 2 hours per week and 1 enrichment program per month. Studio space is shared, but the artists have unlimited access to it.

individual artists nationwide, with more programs added every day.
