Craft Research Projects
This
fund aims to increase the number of creative scholars and practitioners
interested in pursuing craft studies and research and supports research
that demonstrates the relevance of craft within contemporary culture.
Project Research Grants are provided for research on American studio
craft. Proposals are welcome from academic researchers, independent scholars,
doctoral students, and museum curators. Graduate Research Grants
are provided to graduate students working on a thesis or dissertation
that relate to the goals of the Craft Research Fund. Grants: Project Research Grants of $10,000-$15,000;
Graduate Research Grants of up to $5,000.

Black
Rock Arts Foundation
This new, national, non-profit arts organization will furnish artists
with direct financial aid for the production and display of interactive
artworks in communities and venues across the United States and around
the globe. The Black Rock Arts Foundation is devoted to promoting a revival
of art's culture-bearing and connective function by removing art from
its context in the marketplace and reintegrating it into communal settings.

Biennial Grants for Mature Women
Women artists, sculptors, or photographers who are at least 35 years of age are invited to submit three color prints of any medium (oil, watercolor, original works on paper, or sculpture) or three color or black-and-white prints of photographic works.

Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation (LVF) provides one-time grants to individuals working in the fine arts (excluding photography, film, and video) and in the literary arts, including playwriting.
