Promotes the visibility and integration of gay women in the arts, entertainment, and all forms of media. POWER UP's members are women and men, gay and straight, who share a singular purpose - to promote diversity by supporting our mission. POWER UP grants filmmakers funds to produce short films. These films are screened at POWER UP's POWER PREMIERE and play the festival circuit before being released on DVD.

Tee A. Corinne Prize for Lesbian Media Artists

For lesbian artists working in photography, film, video, digital media, new media, or any fusions of these forms and in any genre including documentary, narrative, experimental, or any other styles or combination of genres. The work may be about any subject. The $1,000 prize furthers Tee Corinne’s wish that individual lesbian artists be financially supported to work independently and without censorship.

Native American Public Telecommunications

The NAPT Public Television Program Fund supports program ideas that bring new perspectives on Native American cultures to public television audiences, increasing the quality and quantity of Native American television programming on a national and international scale. Pacific Islanders in Communication (PIC)

The PIC Media Fund is the prime vehicle to spark the development of Pacific Islander programming for national public television. Latino Public Broadcasting

Latino Public Broadcasting supports the development, production, acquisition and distribution of non-commercial educational and cultural television that is representative of Latino people, or addresses issues of particular interest to Latino Americans.
