for International Projects - Central & Eastern Europe

Projects provide support to US artists, curators and arts organizations
to work with their counterparts in 27 countries in Central and Eastern
Europe. Projects should be designed to benefit participants or audiences
in both countries. Assistance is available in identifying contacts
in the region of interest. Grants range from $2,500 to $10,000 depending
on project budget.

TCG/International
Theatre Institute Travel Grants
Designed to foster cultural exchange and artistic partnerships between
theatre professionals in the United States and their counterparts in Russia
and Eastern and Central Europe. These grants of $2,500 will
support trips in either direction by theatre artists, administrators and
educators, enabling them to share ideas, gain exposure to each other's
cultural traditions and contemporary theatre techniques and/or work together.
The grants will also enable U.S. theatre professionals to identify potential
partners for future work.

Trust
for Mutual Understanding
Support to American nonprofits for professional exchanges in the arts
between the US and the countries of the former Soviet Union and Central
Europe. Of particular interest are
creative artistic collaborations, curatorial research projects, performances given in conjunction with lecture/demonstrations and/or workshops, conservation and historic preservation projects, arts management programs, and cultural documentation activities.

The
East/Central Europe Cultural Partnerships Program
Supports residencies in the US for international artists and arts managers
and travel to East/Central Europe by US artists and managers. DTW is not currently accepting unsolicited proposals, but asks that if your work is involved with Eastern and Central Europe, you keep the organization informed of your activities and interests in the area.
