Asian
Cultural Council
Fellowships to individuals, with an emphasis on awards to artists, scholars
and specialists from Asia, for research, study and creative work in the
United States. Some grants are also made to Americans pursuing similar
activities in Asia and to educational and cultural institutions engaged

Japan Foundation
Programs provide artists and specialists in the arts with the opportunity
to pursue creative projects and conduct joint research in Japan with their
Japanese counterparts. Support is also provided to produce films that
promote further understanding of Japan and to bring Japanese fine arts
exhibitions and performing arts troupes to the United States. Also provides a lending library of Japanese film and a program providing books by Japanese authors in translation to libraries and book groups.

The Mekong Project
