ENTER OUR HOLIDAY RAFFLE TO
WIN THIS BEAUTIFUL NECKLACE
AND OTHER GREAT PRIZES!
The Fund for Women Artists helps thousands of artists every year and is working with people all over the world to bring women's voices to the center of public life. Now you can support that work and win a chance to wear a piece of original art yourself. One of our favorite jewelers on the WomenArts Network, Sharon M. Birzvilkis of Apsley Acers Studio in Ontario, Canada, has generously donated a necklace with a gorgeous pendant for us to raffle off.
Sharon often works with "rock slices" of fossilized/petrified wood to create stunning one-of-a-kind pendants. She decided to donate a piece of petrified wood to us because it is a "stone of transformation" that helps people advance to their highest chosen levels. We thought it was perfect, since our goal has always been to help women artists find the resources they need to do their best work.
Every piece of fossilized wood has its own personality, and Sharon has named this pendant "I Am" since it has such strong "confidence" vibes. The pendant is 3 inches by 1.5 inches and as Sharon says, "It has the energy of a woman who is really well-balanced on all levels - head high - strutting her stuff in a gorgeous new outfit - looking so good!"
